The forthcoming multimedia exhibition will tour the major film studios worldwide, premiering in Nice. The exhibition comprises of 8 self portraits and 53 portraits of 9 muses which are positioned across the large darkened space in pools of light. An audio described feature length film is continuously projected onto a large screen at the far end of the area.
The film (and exhibition) incorporates Dolby Atmos, where sound comes from all directions, including overhead, to fill the space with astonishing clarity, richness, detail, and depth. The sound moves all around you in three-dimensions, so you feel like you’re inside the artist’s mind and can feel his vision. With Dolby Atmos sound is freed from channels. It enables the artist to treat specific sounds as individual entities, called audio objects. These will be precisely placed and moved by the creator anywhere in the three-dimensional space, they are not confined to specific channels, though the artist can continue to use channel capabilities as desired.
The space will have 64 precisely positioned speakers mounted both horizontally and vertically around the space including the ceiling. The Dolby Atmos processor will then determine which of the exhibition’s huge array of front, back, side, and overhead speakers it will use to recreate lifelike movement.
The exhibition is a multimedia experience you will never forget.
